Summary:
The article explores the evolution of web technologies, highlighting the differences between Web 1.0, Web 2.0, and Web 3.0. Web 1.0 is the earliest form, characterized as a read-only platform with limited user interaction. Web 2.0 emphasizes user collaboration and interaction through writable platforms like social media and blogs. Web 3.0, still in development, focuses on intelligent data interpretation and collaboration among applications, aiming to deliver a more personalized and efficient user experience.
What is the difference in Web 1.0,2.0,3.0:
Introduction:
Digital technology includes all types of electronic devices that we use as binary codes for information, i.e. 0 and 1s. Devices used in digital technology include computers, calculators, automobiles, CDs players, mobile phones, multimedia, the Internet and the World Wide Web. Digital technology is constantly improving. Due to this improvement and development of technology, laptop computers, iPads, iPods, sensitive mobile phones, Androids, printers, scans, the Internet and the World Wide Web have grown tremendously. Most importantly, the Internet and web technology have affected our entire lives.
Internet:
What is Internet? It is a notable question. Internet is a network or chain with which millions of computers are connected and through which the information is transmitted.
Web:
Web is a platform where we use internet platform to get information.
Types of Web Technology:
There are different types of web technology which we know as web 1.0, web 2.0 and web 3.0. In our common usage now we have web 2.0 so the future trend is moving towards using web 3.0.
Different Types of Web:
Web 1.0:
Web 1.0 is very old so understand it is the early form of web but it is still widely used. In web 1.0 people can only read information like Hotmail 'MSN’ etc. We can say that it is a read-only platform that contains simple data. Web 1.0 has a limited interaction between sites and the users. This is a simple platform where user receives information without analyzing or reacting.
Web 2.0:
Web 2.0 emphasizes human interaction. People not only receive information, but also send information to the Internet using technology devices in response or for various purposes, such as blogs, Facebook or YouTube, etc. Web 1.0 is simply readable. It is Writable. Under which the data is transferred. Web 2.0 also facilitates collaboration and transmission of information between two or more users. For example, there are websites like YouTube, Flickr, Facebook etc.
Web 3.0:
Although Web 3.0 has developed a lot, it is still a work in progress and efforts are being made to improve it and achieve the best results. Web 3.0 includes its structure and reuse of information resources for research, discovery, management, and many other applications. It includes data organization, user satisfaction and collaboration among users.
The term Executable is used for this type of web. In Web 3.0, different types of applications interact with each other. This is called the web of the future. In Web 3.0, computers interpret information using human-like intelligence and intelligently sift through the information according to the user's needs, isolate the useful information and provide it according to the user's needs. An example of Web 3.0 is TIVO, a digital video recorder. Its recording program performs research and searches on the web based on the user's needs.
